Company description

Founded in 2004, Mercuria has become a global energy and commodities trading company. Our core business is sourcing, supplying and trading a range of commodities from crude oil and refined petroleum products to petrochemicals, biofuels, environmental products, natural gas and LNG, power, coal, iron ore and a range of other dry bulk commodities and agricultural products. We enhance our trading activities with strategic assets providing valuable insights into market places where we operate and enabling us to optimize the supply chain transport storage and delivery of goods.

We have a strong ambition in the Energy Transition with a focus in investing and developing opportunities to help decarbonise emissions in all sectors. Mercuria is targeting over 50% of its investments in the Energy Transition.

The Mercuria network encompasses 38 offices in 27 countries and the Group employs more than 1000 people of 40 nationalities. We trade in more than 50 countries.


  • Supporting commercial delivery of carbon opportunities
  • Participating in pricing and structuring of complex deals
  • Analysis of current market trends and preparation of reports and presentations
  • Support in coordination of information amongst the team

Educational background

  • Mathematics, Business, Economics or Engineering
  • Knowledge of Mathematical Finance desirable but not required
