Gala Dinner in Beijing Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations Between China and Switzerland

On August 14th, President Leuthard hosted a dinner gala in Beijing to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of official foreign relationship between Switzerland and China. More than 200 government officials and business leaders from both countries attended the gala.
As one of the major sponsors of the event, Mercuria Beijing invited 8 Chinese government officials and business leaders to attend the gala. In his opening address, Ambassador Blaise Godet thanked Mercuria and other Swiss companies for their sponsorships.
Mr. Haisu Tao, director of Mercuria Investment Consulting (Beijing) Co. and Mr. Xing Li, Vice General Manager of Mercuria Investment Consulting (Beijing) Co. talked with President Leuthard at the gala. President Leuthard recalled her pleasant visit to Mercuria's headquarters in Geneva and praised Mercuria for its rapid growth. Mr. Tao and Mr. Li thanked Swiss government's support of mercuria's business, congratulated the president on her successful vist of China, and wished her pleasant trip to home.
